Liz Staller was born in Chicago in the heart of the northside near Wrigley Field. Though a vital part of the big city environment, rich with cultural diversity, Liz’s neighborhood still retained a small town feeling of community. Her enthusiastic creativity was apparent even at a very tender age. While growing up in a household surrounded by traditional arts, a young Liz would create many unique custom items for her dolls and beautiful enhancements to her family’s home. She completed high school at Lane Technical High School as a commercial art major and later earned her BFA in design at the International Academy of Merchandising and Design. Following graduation, Liz worked full time as a designer in the major fashion design houses in Chicago. It was not until she moved out to the western suburbs in 2001 that her many years of design background culminated into what is now Liz Staller Design. “By blending my personal passion for helping people with my wide range of creative arts, I am now living the dream that I have long yearned for.
